Our high school students began their media arts course with Ms. Cheryl Knobel, an excellent photographer here at Shuren. Students learned how to frame a photograph using the rule of thirds. They had a great experience practicing this skill outside on the campus grounds and were very excited to review their photos with the class to get feedback on the way they framed the shot.
In science class students are focusing on the components of a cell. In order to reinforce this learning, students created models to illustrate each part of the cell. Their creative thinking skills were very evident in this assignment!
